| | This document is intended to describe the OCKHAM Harvest-to-Query Service. The Harvest-to-Query Service (hereby known as H2Q in the rest of this document) provides any OAI-PMH compliant repository with the ability to extend access to their metadata via standard library query interfaces, such as Z39.50. This ability will afford greater access to OAI-PMH repositories by the general library community, and extend the ability of these repositories in other communities as well. |

| | The goal of the administration tool is to provide easy system control to a user/librarian. It is assumed that user has a very little familiarity with specific details of text matching algorithm. It is laso assumed that the user has general knowledge about Z39.50 servers and clients, USMARC, XML tags and OAI records. |
