The install is fairly straight forward, and you can mostly follow the steps on the screen on the Debian installer. This document just lists some of the caveats of the install.

Mac-Fdisk

This utility is interesting in that the UI is a bit confusing.

Keystrokes:

  1. On all systems I would intialize the partition map by issuing an "i" command for intialize
  2. Then create a boot map by issuing "b"
    i
    b
  3. Repeat this step for all your partitions
    p
    c
(find the latest block off of the printed table)
    512M
    (choose a name, swap, /, /boot...)
  4. Once you are done write the disk and quit
    w
    q

After getting the disk partitioned everything should be smooth sailing until the base install is done.

Other Info

aeronet4500_core seems to be the correct net driver during install. You will probably want to use a different one once you are able to grab the latest souce.
